Medical Compression Stockings
Claravida Medical are graduated compression medical stockings in compression classes I and II
Therapeutic indications
Venous and lymphatic pathologies
- Chronic venous insufficiency When the vein valves do not function correctly, causing blood pooling.
- Varicose veins In the presence of evident dilation of superficial veins.
- Edema and lymphedema To reduce chronic swelling and fluid accumulation in tissues.
- Venous ulcers Both to promote healing and to prevent recurrence.
Thrombosis prevention
- Post-operative Essential for bedridden patients after surgery to prevent blood clots (specific anti-embolism stockings are often used).
- Post-thrombotic syndrome For those who have already had an episode of deep vein thrombosis.
Special situations
- Pregnancy If evident varicose veins or significant swelling (edema) appear.
- After vascular treatments Following sclerotherapy or venous surgery interventions.
- Lipedema For the treatment of pain and heaviness related to pathological fat accumulation.
Important Note
Unlike resting/preventive stockings (such as those in our preventive line, ideal for those who stand a lot), medical stockings have higher compression classes (Class 1, 2, 3, or 4) and must be prescribed by a specialist doctor (angiologist or vascular surgeon) based on the necessary pressure.
