Online Sales Terms and Conditions

The sales terms and conditions stated below refer exclusively to purchases made by private customers. To make an online purchase, you must be of legal age.

Purchases made via the store are regulated, where not expressly provided for by the following purchase conditions, by Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005 (the Consumer Code) regarding the protection of consumers in distance contracts.

The following are the conditions that regulate the sale of products marketed by SILCA dei F.lli Beldì SRL. The consumer is invited to read the sales conditions carefully for every purchase made through the store.

Supplier

The supplier of the products on this site is SILCA dei F.lli Beldì SRL – Via S. Margherita, 15 – 21019 – Somma Lombardo-Frazione Case Nuove (VA) – Italy, VAT ID 00228170122. Registered with the Varese Chamber of Commerce, R.E.A. 75016 – Business Register VA 9550.

The brands of the products displayed on this site, presented and marketed, are the property of SILCA dei F.lli Beldì SRL.

Shipping Costs: only some markets are shown on this page; other areas are listed directly within the relevant market during the purchase phase.

Italy

Non-EU Shipping (Switzerland and United Kingdom)

Shipments to countries outside the European Union (Switzerland and the United Kingdom) are carried out from Italy on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis.

Italian VAT exemption: the prices of the products displayed on the site for deliveries to Switzerland and the United Kingdom are already exempt from Italian VAT (pursuant to Art. 8 of DPR 633/72 for exports).

Local taxes and duties: as these are non-EU cross-border sales, importation is subject to the customs regulations of the respective destination countries. Any local taxes (VAT), customs duties, and courier customs clearance fees are entirely the responsibility of the final customer and will be collected by the carrier before or upon delivery.

Switzerland

Shipping costs

  • Orders under € 150.00: 25 CHF
  • Orders equal to or over € 150.00: free shipping

Taxes and customs duties upon delivery

  • Customs duties: 0 CHF for almost all industrial and consumer goods (clothing, footwear, accessories, cosmetics).
  • Swiss VAT: 8.1% (standard rate) or 2.6% (reduced rate products), applied to the total order value (goods + shipping). Note: VAT is not due if the calculated amount is less than 5 CHF (i.e., for total orders up to approximately 62 CHF).
  • Courier customs clearance fees: administrative management cost for customs procedures, approximately between 13 CHF and 25 CHF.

United Kingdom (UK)

Orders up to 135 GBP (approx. 160 €)

  • Customs duties: 0 GBP (exempt by law below this threshold).
  • UK VAT (20%): calculated on the total value (goods + shipping).
  • Courier customs clearance fees: from 8 GBP to 12 GBP approximately for administrative management.

Orders over 135 GBP (approx. 160 €)

  • UK VAT (20%): calculated on the total import value.
  • Customs duties: 0% for products with European Union preferential manufacturing and origin (Made in EU); from 6% to 12% for products manufactured outside the EU.
  • Courier customs clearance fees: from 12 GBP to 20 GBP approximately.

Refusal of delivery, storage and non-payment of duties

Should the recipient refuse delivery of the package to avoid paying customs duties, local VAT, or courier fees, or in the event of storage due to the recipient being unreachable, the package will be returned to our headquarters in Italy.

In case of return for the reasons stated above, the following will be deducted from any refund to the customer:

  1. The original outbound shipping costs.
  2. The costs incurred for the return and storage of the goods.
  3. Any duties and re-importation charges debited by Italian customs or the courier.

Payment Methods

We accept Credit Cards, PayPal, Bank Transfer, Scalapay, and Satispay.

If you buy with Scalapay, you receive your order immediately and pay in 3 installments. You acknowledge that the installments will be assigned to Incremento SPV S.r.l., related parties, and their assignees, and that you authorize this assignment.

Payment is made directly from the site at the time of order.

Delivery Times

Orders placed via Credit Card or PayPal received by 11:00 AM will be prepared and shipped the same day; orders received after 11:00 AM will be shipped the following day. Orders received on Friday after 11:00 AM will be processed on Monday.

  • Italy: 1 to 4 business days
  • Abroad: 3 to 9 business days

In any case, during checkout, the system will clearly show the estimated delivery times based on the destination.

SILCA dei F.lli Beldì SRL guarantees the indicated times up until the handover to the courier; any delays in final delivery are to be attributed to the courier.

Prices and availability

The prices displayed on the site include VAT. Any shipping costs are indicated at checkout and in the relevant section.

In the event of an inability, even temporary, to fulfill the order, SILCA dei F.lli Beldì SRL will contact the purchaser to make new arrangements. SILCA accepts no responsibility for non-delivery due to incomplete or inaccurate data provided by the purchaser.

Warranty and privacy

Silca guarantees its products are free from any defects. Should a defect be found, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 8 days of receipt.

Personal data is subject to processing pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Providing data implies consent to processing by SILCA dei F.lli Beldì SRL.

Return policy

Didn't like the ordered goods? We accept online returns within 14 days of the purchase date, offering a partial or full refund or store credit. Items returned after 14 days are not refundable. Items must be intact and clean.

To make a return, send an email to magazzino@silca.eu indicating the order number. Pack the goods and send them back at your expense to: Silca dei F.lli Beldì srl, via Santa Margherita 15, Somma Lombardo.

Once the return is received, processing will take 3-5 business days. If accepted, the refund will appear on the original payment method within another 3-5 business days.
