Silca, an Italian story handed down since 1954

Silca srl is an Italian manufacturing company that has been operating successfully in the hosiery industry for over 70 years. The company produces quality socks and tights, both as a private label and under its own brand, managing the entire production cycle for both the Italian and international markets.

Silca was founded in 1954 through the entrepreneurial initiative of brothers Pietro and Franco Beldì as an artisanal third-party dye works. Over the years, thanks to the experience acquired, the Beldì brothers broadened their horizons and began their own production and distribution of hosiery, thus completing the production cycle.

In the 1960s, the FBS brand introduced three main lines of classic, support, and fashion tights, which achieved a prestigious position in the specialized market. Constant technological updates and a keen eye for market needs have guided our choices from the 1970s to the present day with the Silca brand.
